Kainchi Ashram

Kainchi AshramKainchi is a beautiful secluded mountain ashram located in the Kumoan Hills in Uttarakand. The first temple was inaugurated in June 1964. It is approximately 38 km from Naini Tal. Many hundreds of people visit the temples here every day, in season.

Each year, during the famous June 15th bhandara, reportedly, more than one lakh (100,000) people are fed. Beautiful Gardens.

Rules are strictly enforced and individuals staying at the ashram are required to participate in morning and evening arati. While the temples are open to everyone from 7am to 6pm in Winter, the ashram is closed for 4-5 months, because it becomes very cold.

Panki Hanuman Temple in Kanpur

Maharajji's Kanpur Ashram at PanikiInaugurated in January 1964, Panki Hanuman Temple is a very small temple on the outskirts of the city of Kanpur, near Panki Railway Station.

Within this temple resides the very wonderful and delightful Panki Hanuman-ji.

It was said that during the bhandara feast held at the inauguration of this temple Maharaj-ji was capable of feeding the whole city of Kanpur (current pop. Approx. 50-lakh (5 million).

A Mahasamadhi Bhandara is held here shortly after the mahasamadhi bhandara in Vrindaban.

There are no accommodations here whatsoever at this time.

Lucknow Ashram - Hanuman Sethu Mandir

Maharajji's Lucknow Ashram, Uttar PradeshInaugurated on January 26, 1967, this ashram includes 2 Neem Karoli Baba murtis, 2 Hanuman murtis, and 2 Shiva Linga.

This temple performs a major service in distributing Maharaj-ji's prasad in Lucknow, and seems to be one of the most visited temples in the city.

The ashram is always decorated as for a bhandara, thanks to a devoted staff. Maharaj-ji said that Lucknow Sankat Mochan Hanuman-ji (known as "the wish fulfilling Hanuman") is "the Governor General of all Hanuman's."

Wall murals depict: Ram and Sita, and Ram and Laxshman with Hanuman and the army of monkeys and bears building the bridge to Lanka.

 

Rishikesh Ashram

Neem Karoli Baba Rishikesh AshramNeem Karoli Baba Rishikesh Ashram, just south of Rishikesh, on the west side of the road you will be greeted by one of the two Hanuman murtis at Neem Karoli Baba’s (Baba Neeb Karori's) Rishikesh Ashram. This Hanuman rises forty feet above the passing motorists so that everyone who enter Rishikesh from Haridwar can have the darshan of Sri Hanuman-ji.

Morning and evening arati practice. Beautiful Gardens. Westerners have not been permitted to stay at this very small ashram with very large temples, located about 7 km south of Rishikesh.

A beautiful new library of spiritual knowledge has been established at this ashram. Head Librarian is Vidhu Bhushan Pant-ji.

Shimla - Sankatamocana Hanuman Temple

Maharajji's Shimla Ashram, UttarakandThis remote mountain temple was begun many years ago by Maharaj-ji .

This temple is now undergoing a major renovation.

A new Neem Karoli Baba murti was made in Jaipur. The mandir this this Maharaj-ji murti has a wonderful, high view of all the surrounding area.

At the entrance to this very special temple grounds is a very good Ganesh Temple with wonderful carvings on the outer walls.

Inauguration of the new Maharaj-ji murti was done at Hanuman Jayanti, 1999.
