"In His fancy, a young 'yogi' carrying a chimta (a pair of tongs) and a 'kamandal' in his hand boarded a first class compartment of the Tundla bound train at Farrukhadab station. The train had gone a few miles when an Anglo Indian, T. T. E. came to check tickets and was taken aback to see a half-naked sadhu in the first class compartment. On demanding the ticket and getting a negative reply, he lost his temper and ungraciously compelled the sadhu to get down at the next Neebkarori halt.

The sadhu quietly sat under the tree and dug the pair of tongs in the earth. The train got the green light signal to leave. The engine was started, but the train did not move further. The steam was applied with full force, but the wheels turned round and round at their place. The engine was checked throughly and everything was found in order.

Being worried the European guard came to the driver and asked him what the matter was. The driver could not point out any fault. Nothing was found. Despite all efforts the engine would not budge. By now it was time for some other trains to pass by on that track.

Selection of Places for Samadhi Temples Before His Final Journey

Maharaj's samadhi temples have been constructed at five places - Kainchi, Vrindavan, Neeb Karori, Veerapurum (madras) and Lucknow. Sarkar Babaji) had selected all these places on His own. The incidents related to them are captivating and are the living examples of His will-power

Samadhi Temple at Vrindavan Dham
Babaji Maharaj has already fixed the date of His leaving this mortal body. He had to choose a place for the cremation of His body and to prepare back-ground for His devotees to build a commemorative temple. Babaji had already got a yajna performed for nine days in the premises of the temple by His devotee Vishambhar from Aligarh on the occasion of Chaitra Navratra in March-April, 1973.

Babaji left His physical body in the night of 10 September 1973. The Kalash containing His ashes was already installed in Shri Kainchi dham. Then, without any plan and design the construction work of Baba's temple began in 1974. All His devotees cooperated (voluntarily).

The artisans and masons engaged in the construction work has an early bath and wearing clean clothes began work, reciting Hanuman Chalissa and chanting "Maharajji Ki Jai" (glory to Maharajji). When the construction work was on, the devotees also recited Hanuman Chalisa and did Kirtan by singing (Shri Rama - Jai Rama - Jai Jai Rama).

Babaji embracing Kehar Singhji and by rubbing his head 6-7 times with His hand got him rid of the tongue cancer.

He once cured the swelling on his feet (caused by blood turning to water under the skin) by pressing on a certain point with his finger.

Babaji gave eye-sight to his son whose eye was injured by the broken glass of his spectacles.

Twenty-two pieces of glass had pierced his eye and had so damaged it that he became blind and many doctors failed to treat him.

Babaji gave him eye-sight by simply pressing on a certain point in his (boy's) palm with His finger.

He cured many by sending a flower only.

Babaji had a great affection for the low castes disregarded by society.

He had meals at their place with great fondness.

Gandhiji had taken upon himself the task of uplifting the low castes in 1929, but Babaji had accepted the services of a fowler Gopal, from whose shadow the high castes maintained some distance, in 1916.

He used to take milk and other eatables to the Neeb Karori cave for Babaji.

In Nainital also, Babaji visited the low caste inhabitation of village Manora and partook prasad. It was the same at Bhumiadar also.
