Shri Shivapanchakshara Stotram English

Neeb Karori Baba MaharajjiHe who has snakes garlanding his neck, who has three eyes, whose body is smeared with ash and has the sky as his cloth - I bow to the "Na" syllable of that imperishable Maheshwar's great mantra.

He who has been adorned with Mandar and other celestial flowers, who is the sovereign king of the Pramatha Ganas, and whose body is anointed with the holy waters of the celestial Ganges-I bow to the "Ma" syllable of that Lord Shiva's great mantra.

He who is the resplendent sun of Gauri's lotus-like face, the destroyer of Daksha's sacrifice, the blue-throated Lord, whose banner bears the emblem of a bull- I bow to the "Shi" syllable of that Lord Shiva's great mantra.

He whose forehead has been reverenced and worshipped by Vasishta, Agastya, Gautam and other great sages and gods, whose eyes are the sun, moon and fire-I bow to the "Va" syllable of that Lord Shiva's great mantra.

He who has donned the form of a yaksha, who has long matted hair, who holds the Pinaka bow in his hand-I bow to the "Ya" syllable of that ancient unclad God's great mantra.

Whoever chants this great five-syllabled hymn before Lord Shiva attains the Lord's supreme abode with him in eternal bliss.
